When winter comes with ice and snow
shining bright
day or night
it makes the barren landscape glow.
Rolling streams
misty dreams.
Birds of all colors come to feed
without sound
light on ground
and scoop up all the scattered seed.

Well, thank you, Ginger. I really don’t love winter’s cold, but I do like snow. It’s a bitter cold here right now.

Beautiful photo of winter. Lovely poem — I love the line “it makes the barren landscape glow.” It really does have a magical effect.
