A redbird came to eat today,
flew by the tray
of fruit and grain
as drops of rain
began to plop and plop and plop.
When each big drop
became a splash,
I heard a crash
and looked to find the bird of red
with tufted head,
of cat’s wet paws.
Photo101 – Moment and Motion – While I was watching the birds this morning during a misty rain, this redbird came flying in so fast to the feeder, he barely stopped at the edge of the tray. He provided my
“moment in motion” and I snapped his picture for today’s assignment! #photo101 Day Thirteen
This is my example of a “pop of color”. When this redbird lands at the feeding tray, his color pops among the dull shades of the pan, seeds, and other birds that might be feeding. This photo was taken in the “golden hour” after sunrise.
