Oooo, we are past autumn though it held our well this year (I just picked the last raspberries which is unheard of in November in Wisconsin). Enjoy the last days!

The way the wind and rain are hammering at us today means it’s past autumn here, too. Fresh raspberries sound delicious.

The weather hasn’t been quite right this year for lots of color. Most leaves are just turning brown and falling off.

Beautiful photo. Arkansas can look pretty bleak during the winter.

That is true, L. Diane Wolfe, about Arkansas in winter. I’m trying to absorb all this beauty now to recall during bleak December. My lawn is a leaf carpet beneath the oaks.

I came through Clinton on the way to Bear Creek Cabins with a couple of friends last week and thought of you. When I came home on Friday lots of color was popping along the highway. Prettier than down our way.

The color, though, is not as pretty as in years past. Bear Creek Cabins sounds like a remote place.
