This is my example of a “pop of color”. When this redbird lands at the feeding tray, his color pops among the dull shades of the pan, seeds, and other birds that might be feeding. This photo was taken in the “golden hour” after sunrise.

Nice detail! Your bird reminds me of cardinals, which my Grandmother loved seeing but hated the bluejays the seed attracted.

The blue jays come to eat, here, and the other birds are afraid of them, and leave the feeder to them. The jays do eat a lot of seed.
