    Thanks teaching me today. I’ve always heard of cowbirds but hadn’t ever really known what they looked like!

    • They are beauties. Black with brown heads and necks (the male) and the female bird is dark gray. In researching, I found they lay eggs in nests of other birds Not a good trait. They come to the feeder in small flocks. This year is the first time I’ve discovered them.
