Flower Child
I write for fun; I write for pay.
I fret and sweat each day
afraid that I
may die
before
I find the door
that opens up that scene and plot
to make the world forget-me-not.

I will forget you not, I look forward to the poems you share, I for one think you make a lasting impression with what you share. Each one gives the readers an idea of when you were growing up.

Ginger, you are a constant encouragement to me. I can’t thank you enough for being there, all the way out west, someone I’ve never met, so dedicated to responding to my blog posts. In the post, I wish I’d had a picture of the flower “forget me not” but I didn’t even look for one. I think my mother used to grow them.
