The Power of Poetry

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAQuote: “When power leads man toward arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitation.  When power narrows the area of man’s concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of his existence.” —John F. Kennedy

Lovely and inspirational quotes. Did you get to visit the Emerson Inn?

    • Yes. We spent the night there. Our daughters and granddaughters went whale watching at Cape Ann, while Gene and I relaxed at the Emerson Inn. So lovely! A part of it had been a hotel where Emerson spent time. The new Inn was added on and built around the old part. Right near the bluest sea! We stayed down the hall from the room called Ralph Waldo’s room. Unique!

    • Kayla, this Inn is at Rockport, Massachusetts. If you ever vacation there, I highly recommend this place. I’d love to go back and stay a week there.
