Do You Write to be Published?

One Kind of Writer

He who writes to not be published
is a man of many dreams
who denies his own existence
is worth anything, it seems.
Certainly, that is what he’s saying
and he shouts it with a rage
to a world who will not listen
but would read him on the page.

  1. To be published??? an accomplishment for self… and maybe to tell a story you feel is worth hearing!

That poem is so true. Why do we get published? Do we want to be heard, make money or change something? Something to chew on as a writer.
