  1. I think we have our priorities out of balance. Opening on Thanksgiving Day felt wrong when it’s supposed to be a time of family and gratitude. The gifts we give each other are tickets to theater, the symphony. But, mostly we give to special charities we promote — that’s our main gift.

    When buying sale things always try to peel the sale sticker off just enough to see original price.

  5. Always suspicious of sales. I knew one fellow that worked overtime in men’s department of an department store one weekend tagging the clothing with prices that would be higher than normal even with the 20% discount.
