Cougar, my little cat has eyes of green.
His fur is black and shiny as a star.
He naps a lot on days when cold rains fall.
He is the cutest cat I’ve ever seen.
He hunts deep in the woods and wanders far.
He runs to me each time he hears my call.
He plays and wrestles with his sibling, Cal.
Cougar eats food as though it’s caviar.
He likes to sleep on tattered, woolen shawl.
Twister, the yellow cat is now his pal–
best friend of all.

Terry and I have always had at least two cats, sometimes three. A pair of our favorites looked like your photos. We named them Benny and the Jet because of Jet’s solid black coat. We really mourned their passing.
